Active is the one-stop-shop for your full renewable heating package, we use our own plumbers to install radiators, underfloor heating and associated pipework for our renewable heating systems.

The different types of heat pumps require varying types of heating and plumbing work. For example low temperature heat pumps may have to be integrated with either fan coils, slightly larger radiators than usual or with suitably designed underfloor heating.

On the other hand, high temperature heat pumps can be integrated with existing radiators and our plumbing designs will be tailored to suit the best solution for your home.

The renewable technologies you decide to use should work seamlessly with the heating and plumbing system in place. We can offer a range of systems including:

Fan coils (heat pump convectors)

These operate at typical water temperatures of 45°C and provide high comfort levels of heat through convection. These heat emitters are neat and compact and can be remote-controlled.

 

Radiators

For low temperature heat pumps we will select the smallest possible radiators with the highest outputs. Working with major manufacturers we can offer installations at highly competitive prices.

 

Underfloor heating

We work closely with UK underfloor heating manufacturers and are able to offer a wide range of products to suit most floor types and applications.
